« New Shirt and a Tired Dog | Main | Lots of pictures! »

I guess I forgot to mention it...

...but come August 16th, my coworker and I are boarding a plane in San Francisco to spend two weeks at our headquarters in Ecublens, Switzerland. Which is here:

This will be my first trip out of the country, so I'm more than a little nervous. My passport arrived a couple weeks ago to remind me that, yes, this is really going to happen. Weird! As I am going on business, and since the dollar is worth just about the equivalent of crap just about everywhere outside our borders, I'm not scheduling a lot of places to go. On the factory grounds they have a couple apartments, which is where my coworker, David, and I will be staying. They apparently have a car as well, but I have no idea what my schedule will look like so I don't have a clue as to where I may go.
Back on this side of the pond, Anna will be spending two weeks home with Winston (new pictures soon!! I promise!) and the four cats. It'll be weird and sad being apart from her for so long, but what with the Memory Walk quickly coming up there really isn't any way she could come with me.
So that's the news that I forgot to tell!
